Happy birthday and bye for now to our amazing @alysia.vang ❤️! The VERY best part of my job is being a part of the journey of these amazing young people that come to work in my lab at all different points in their academic journeys. @alysia.vang joined my lab just before the COVID lockdown, having never worked with a cow and said, I want to work on the cow project. She took on the most challenging and long project that was a pipe dream between myself and @digitallivestock. After a PhD, a post-doc, and a body of work that has led to a feasibility study in humans, she’s off to @uwsmph to continue on her journey to work in women’s health. What I will miss most is her kindness, her big heart, her big laugh, and her care for everyone else around her. The patients who will be under her care will truly be so lucky to have her! @natinhat @waneskafrizzarini @juleeyah @_leoralew_ @kennagirl6
